How exactly to use Links Organizer I was wondering if someone can give me more detailed instructions on how to use this tool, because i am in the process of fixing all the broken or bad links that show up in my Blog. I have spent a lot of time on this site and the intructions that are given just aren't working at all, because i can't seem to enter my (URL) to check all the broken links to fix all of them. If it would work correctly to show me exactly how to fix them i would gladly pay for the tool after the trial ...

Also tried out the XENU\'s Link Sleuth application, which has a better look and is faster.The output of this Free Link Checker is more verbose. Actually prefer tabular format like the one in Xenu\'s

I am experiencing difficulties accessing Gmail and I used your tool to try to identify and resolve the problem. The answer I received was: "error 404- the link does not exist". In other words I am at exactly the same point I was before downloading your program.

Reporting is indeterminate Unfortunately, I wasn't able to produce a report that was useful. Even after setting various reporting options regarding recursion and levels of nesting, the output was a simple one or two liner suggesting a broken link, but no details or URL for the broken link.

It worked. But when I deleted the extra bookmarks it didn\'t tell me which ones I used the most. Some of the bookmarks that I did not delete I had a hard time finding as they must have been in some subfolder. I had a few of my favorite bookmarks on the top toolbar area and still can not find them. It stated it would remove the duplicates but keep one. I only wish it have kept the ones I had on top first. But, again it did work. I just have a little rearranging to do now.

I wish it supported firefox natively. Seemed to work well on the bookmarks.html file I exported, but I would have had to manually update my native bookmarks, so I stopped using the program.

Great but . . . Great! Does was it says and quickly too. Do wish Firefox was handled like IE though

and Foxfire for us old farts Wish it worked automatically with Foxfire like it does with IE. I'm getting old and not as quick as I used to be, but I was able to work through it and liked it. Did what it said it would do and quickly too.

The utility does what it promises. If you have some questions - look into Help window first. If you want to review the page where the link to your site is - double click that link's URL in list. You can select the TLD domain you are going to search links to your site in by double clicking on the list of domains in the list to the right. That list is filled after first search. SEO Backlinks Elite works well Correction to my previous review - you can follow the links found directly if you double click them. Setting up the search options could be made easier perhaps. You have to set up the search string manually if you want to exclude/include domains or keywords. Maybe this will come in version 2. Even so version 1 is a great little tool.

SEO Backlinks Elite works This little program does just one job. It show back links pointing to any website. So you can see how well your site is doing or get some ideas from competitive websites. You can't directly follow the links, which would be nice. But it's easy enough to copy and paste them into your browser.

Problems 1, When I run this Checker, my intranet server was broght down, I am not sure if it was caused by this program.2, if a link called with a parameter it was list as a broken linkfor example, employee.cfm?emp_id=1, if you call this page in another page providing an emp_id, it works fine, but if you open it directly then it will fail.Overroll, I like this program. I wonder if you have experenced the above problem and have any sugestions.Thank you.Alex
